I had a thought. Are there places who will reward kids for good grades? So, I looked it up and sure enough, there are! Check out the post from Mama Cheaps, called 2011 Report Card Freebies. Be sure to call in advance to make sure these are participating establishments!
What are YOU doing to reward your kids for good grades? We give our high schooler money for his report card. An "A" gets a little more than a "B", and a "B" gets a little more than a "C". He's not had a "C" that I can remember, so he makes out pretty well each time. Typically, it's all "A"s, so he will break the bank! But we're ok with that. He is a special needs kid, and struggles with school, so we feel very blessed by the education that he is getting.
